Comare Lina was my godmother and she was more like an auntie to me. She was always so thoughtful and was full of life and she never stopped. I have so many wonderful memories of Comare Lina and she will be truly missed as we all loved her very much. Growing up as neighbours we would never go without seeing her almost every day. Being Lina's great-granddaughter means having had a grandmother across the ocean, always ready to welcome us and pamper us; she was a great asset, an immense gift. Her determination, experience and pride in her achievements have made me reflect too often on how important this great woman has been in her long life, and I have tried to learn from her. The distance will not affect my love and I will miss her terribly. I love you Nonna Lina ❤️

Dear Mirella, Giancarlo and Families I was saddened to read of Lina's passing. We were not only neighbors for 45 years, but friends. Lina taught me so much throughout the years. Lina was a wise, beautiful, generous, kind, strong-willed lady. Mostly, she was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. My mother spoke very fondly of Lina when they worked together at Lanark in Dunnville. I also remember Franco roughing in our house in Port Colborne. So sorry to all the family. Anthony and John Greco
