Obituary of Patricia Gamm

Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital surrounded by her family on December 23, 2021, one day before her 85^th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Gamm. Loving mother of Ron and Greg (Donna). Caring grandmother of Sarah, Shelley and Jakob. She is survived by her son in-law Rick (Mary-ellen), and by her siblings from England; Francis (Jane), Pauline (Mick), Christine and Peter (Mila). Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Margaret Long and by her daughter Karen.

Pat was born and raised in Guildford, England. She came to Canada in 1954.  Her family always came first, which included all of the family pets.  She was involved in the Catholic Women's League and loved shopping in Buffalo. She had a love for travel and returned to England several times, as well as multiple trips to Europe and the Middle East.

The Gamm family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Monday from 2 – 4 p.m. & 6 – 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 375 Main Street West, Port Colborne with Father Peter Walton as celebrant. Cremation will follow. At the family’s request, this will be an open visitation allowing full capacity. Those who wish to attend the visitation must provide proof of double vaccination, government issued photo identification and facemasks are required.
